Welcome to the American Citizen Services (ACS) Section of the Consulate Edinburgh. We provide all passport, citizenship and consular related services to American Citizens in Scotland.
Hours of Operation
Our regular business hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that we are closed on American, British and Scottish public holidays.
Non-emergency services are by appointment only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you require an emergency service outside these hours, you may contact us during regular business hours by email at Edinburgh-Info@state.gov or telephone on [44](0)131 556 8315 for more information.

Travel Registration

If you are a U.S. Citizen currently traveling abroad, you may wish to register your details with the State Department. You can do so through the Department of State's Travel Registration system.

visitors who wish to receive Consulate special announcements. If you are
