Opening Times

The U.S. Consulate General Edinburgh provides non-emergency services by appointment only.  Appointments are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you have an emergency and require a service outside these hours please call 0131-556-8315 to request an appointment or email us at Edinburgh-Info@state.gov .  

If you arrive at the Consulate General without an appointment for non-emergency services you may be turned away.

The Consulate General is closed to the public on American and British holidays.
