    15 July 2015 The Consulate General Edinburgh hosted a reception to celebrate the Fulbright-Scotland Summer Institute 2015. The Fulbright-Summer Institute is a five-week cultural and academic program for U.S. students held at the University of Dundee and the University of Strathclyde.

    29 July 2015 - The Department of State is updating the Worldwide Caution to provide information on the continuing threat of terrorist actions and violence against U.S. citizens and interests throughout the world.     Ambassador Barzun Visits Glasgow

    Friday, February 6, Ambassador Matthew Barzun made his third trip to Glasgow as Ambassador. His met with new Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon MSP and new Scottish Labour Leader Jim Murphy MP. The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland hosted Ambassador Barzun, where he met with students designing innovative sets and costumes for the school’s upcoming West Side Story production.  Read more »
